BULLETPROOF SHIELD

The shield is intended for use all year round in any weather conditions. The defensive and operational characteristics of the shield are constant within the range of temperature from -40 to +50 C. The shield is resistant to unfavourable atmospheric and environmental conditions (rain, snow, insolation, high humidity, dust, etc.). The shield is resistant to mechanical factors (impact, vibrations, etc.). The body of the shield is finished in matt black.

The design of the shield’s body minimizes the risk of ricochets. The edges of the shield are lastingly protected against mechanical damage. The shield is equipped with two fixed ergonomic grips which do not cause painful pressure and prevent injuries or bruises to the user. The grips are made of a steel tube diameter 35 +/- 2 mm. The first grip is mid-mounted on the body of the shield at 320 +/- 10 mm. The second (lower) grip is fixed below the first grip in the middle of the shield. The distance between the axes of the grips is 340 +/- 10 mm. The grips are 300 +/- 10 mm wide. The distance between the grips and the inner side of the shield’s body at the widest area is 90 +/- 10 mm. The grips are covered with rubber foam with high friction factor, what allows sure and stable grip on the shield to operate it. This material is flame resistant.

The shield is fitted with a strap suspension system relieving the load from the user’s arms when carrying the shield. The system employs clips enabling attaching and detaching the shield quickly. The shield is fitted with a glass visor enabling the user to safely observe the area in front of the shield. The transparent area of the glass visor is 200-300+/-2 mm - height min. 100 mm

The glass visor is made according to the same durability class as the shield’s body and is made resistant against mechanical damage which is the result of normal operation. The visor is placed centrally in the shield’s body 100-150 mm from the top edge of the shield to the top edge of the visor.

The shield is equipped with 560 lumen tactical lighting (white, cold light). The tactical lighting is protected against mechanical damage which is the result of normal use of the shield (does not include gunfire). The lighting is fixed to the surface of the shield. It is possible to replace it if damaged. The lighting is fitted with a switch which enables operating it by both left- and right-handed users. The switch is protected from accidental use. The tactic lighting operates in continuous and strobe modes. The lighting is powered with batteries commonly available on the Polish market. It provides constant lighting over a period of min. 1 h. All of the cables are protected against mechanical damage resulting from normal operation (except for gunfire). All of the lighting elements are protected against weather and environmental factors. All of the shield’s elements are made of flame resistant materials.

A certified device for personal protection of respiratory system, designed for rescue in emergencies, where there is smoke and hazardous vapours. The COGO mask provides users with short-term respiratory protection against smoke and carbon monoxide and is tested against CO, HCl, HCN and acrolein. The COGO mask is certified in accordance with European standard EN-403 and has a CE-EU mark. The COGO-S mask is designed for environments containing sulfur gases.
