The 9th edition of the Katorżnik Run was held on 17 August 2013 in Kokotek near Lubliniec. The run was organised by the Commando Military Unit of Lubliniec. This year's race was also attended by one of the employees of Lubawa S.A. – Michał Gronowski. He ran in a starting group together with journalists and VIPs. The run went through a lake, channels, ditches and woods, waist-deep in mud at times, floundering in the reed, in warm water of the lake at one time and in the icy water of the channels at the other. It was definitely the most difficult sport task I have done so far. The distance of about 13 km which can be run in less than an hour, in this case, took me 2 hours and 39 minutes – says Michał Gronowski.

We would like to congratulate Michał Gronowski, who was a debutant in this run, the high 7th place he took in his group, as well as all the other participant for their perseverance. We would also like to wish all of them good luck in the next editions of the run.
