The HT Laser A25 boat was launched on 16 July 2013 in Gryfino. A25 is a boat with a water-jet drive. It is a multi-purpose unit that can be customised on request. The State Fire Service in Gryfino has the only A25 model of such kind in Poland. The slightly modified boat without cabin is lighter than the standard type.

Twenty firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service underwent training on the boat's operation. They were also briefed on the capabilities and the technical and operational specifications of the new equipment. HT Laser A25 boat was purchased by using the EU funds within the INTERREG IVA program. The said financing of the equipment for the State Fire Service in Gryfino was obtained thanks to the participation in the project “Development of a joint Polish and German system of countering pollution of a large area on the Oder and countering the effects of other threats in the border area.”

The new purchase of the State Fire Service in Gryfino will be used for rescue operations on the river, patrolling and carrying out tasks aimed at counteracting and eliminating the hazards to the water environment.
