Lubawa's new product – flood barrier – was presented on 14 and 15 March of this year in Mikkeli. The said flood barrier is intended for building or heightening levees. Solutions used in its construction are simple and effective, making it an extremely economical and efficient product for an affordable price. It is not without reason that the flood barrier generates such interest in Finland. It is a country where floods and flooding occur the most often in Europe.

The barrier in its price segment is unmatched on the market. It can be used in any area. Compared to conventional methods for preventing floods, using this system saves time and labour. Other advantages of the system include the systems light weight, ease of handling, storage and installation. The outcome of the presentation were very positive. Representatives of LUBAWA were asked to present the product in Fire Service Departments in almost every region of Finland.

The said system of flood barriers was patented in the Patent Office (No. 195058).
