Funds from the grant will be used for the implementation of a research and development project. The task of Lubawa S.A. will be to design and produce an external additional modular armour system for wheeled armoured personnel carriers, armoured vehicles and tracked vehicles with the level of protection II - IV according to STANAG 4569, and to apply light, layered ballistic armours as an external modular system of protection of entire APCs and armoured vehicle cabins against armour piercing shells 7.62 mm - 14.5 mm, together with fastening elements.
Awarding the grant to Lubawa S.A. is an expression of confidence that as experts in the field of technologically advanced ballistic protection, fuel tanks, camouflage and disguise systems, as well as personal protective equipment, we are able to develop new products on a global scale. The goals set for us as part of this program are very ambitious and are part of the main directions of the Programme of Restructuring and Technical Modernisation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, said Marcin Kubica, President of the Management Board of Lubawa S.A.
