Lubawa S.A. participated in a Science-Industry-Defence (PL Nauka-Przemysł-Obronność) conference

Science-Industry-Defence conference was an opportunity to get acquainted with MON plans concerning R&D works in the armed forces sector. The conference consisted also of an exhibition presenting the products awarded with a DEFENDER statuette during the MSPO 2014 fairs. Lubawa S.A. presented its technologically advanced lightweight Titania flak suit.

The congress which took place on 26th of May gathered representatives of MON, research centres and companies from the defence sector. Among the speakers of the conference were the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak, Director of the Armed Forces Supervision Department, retired Lieutenant General Lech Konopka, Director of the General Staff of Polish Armed Forces, General Mieczysław Gocuła, MON Secretary of State, Czesław Mroczek and many other distinguished representatives of the state departments and research units. The conference addressed the current state and prospects for scientific research in the area of defence and security of the State, and also showed the modernisation directions of the Polish armed forces up until the year 2022.

Product exhibition organised as part of the conference presented advanced solutions for the defence of the country. During the exhibition products awarded with the prestigious DEFENDER award during the last year's edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition were presented. Lubawa S.A. presented a lightweight Titania flak suit. Titania is a full protective suit designed for the purpose of providing the user with comfort, high flexibility and lightness. The suit is lighter and more ergonomic than its predecessors.
