Defender award for Lubawa S.A.

During the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), the prestigious Defender awards have been handed out. This year's competition featured 76 submissions, among which 12 awards were given for innovative products. One of the winners was Lubawa S.A., which received a statuette for its lightweight anti-fragmentation suit Titania.

On September 4, 2014 the Defender awards were handed out for the best products presented at the 22nd International Defence Industry Exhibition. Lubawa S.A. was awarded for technologically advanced lightweight anti-fragmentation suit – Titania. Titania is a full protective suit designed for the purpose of providing the user with comfort, high flexibility and lightness. Trousers worn on the jacket form a complete suit without the front slots, thus giving the effect of a closed construction, which disperses the effects of force of impact. The suit is designed for self-dressing and undressing by its user. It works perfectly in hot and humid conditions.

The suit is equipped with two anti-fragmentation plates providing the highest level of bomb protection. Titania has a dedicated helmet, jacket and trousers with built-in groin guard. It is available in sizes from S to XL. The total weight of Titania bomb suit is <25 kg already with the helmet (the weight depends on the size and level of protection).
