Lubawa S.A. as a participant of the meeting about cooperation with the United States
On September 30, 2014 in Warsaw a meeting of representatives of Polish and American companies was held, who discussed their mutual cooperation in the presence of the United States Secretary of Commerce. The only representative of the Polish defence industry was Lubawa S.A.
The discussions focused mainly on the barriers encountered by Polish entrepreneurs wishing to invest overseas, including e.g. difficult to meet criteria for entry into the American market for the military branch companies. Both parties expressed a desire to further strengthen and develop the cooperation, with high hopes with respect to the planned trade and investment partnership agreement to be concluded between the United States and the European Union, which is likely to simplify the mutual trade.
“At the meeting, along with the representatives of other Polish companies, we drew attention to several important issues that the Polish and the American administration should take into account in order to facilitate the principles of future trade. Such negotiations are extremely important to us, particularly due to the fact that our American company, Lubawa USA, has extensive plans for expansion in that particular market,” commented Marcin Kubica, CEO of Lubawa S.A.
Lubawa USA is currently conducting advanced negotiations with representatives of a number of American companies, including such enterprises as Sikorsky Aircraft or Boeing. The company's activity is based on two pillars: introducing American solutions into Polish market, as well as offering its own products to American uniformed services and networks of private dealers.
