Lubawa Armenia officially opened
On 16 October, the official opening of the manufacturing facility Lubawa Armenia, a Company owning a majority-interest of Lubawa S.A. Poland [a joint-stock company], took place.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials from both Poland and Armenia, including Seyran Ohanyan, Defence Minister of Armenia, Zdzisław Raczyński, Ambassador of Poland, and Bogdan Klich, Senator and former Polish Minister of National Defence. Lubawa Group was represented by Marcin Kubica, CEO of Lubawa S.A., and Jarosław Ruch, the head of Lubawa Armenia.
The equipment included in long-term purchase plan approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia constitutes a main subject of production, and includes, among others, Multispectral Camouflage Coatings, ballistic systems, tents and inflatable mock-ups. The scheduled regular production and supply of these products are to ensure stable development of the Company based on the contractual guarantee of the Armenian Ministry of Defence.
After mutual congratulations, the Parties expressed hope that the official opening of the Polish Company facility will make further strengthening of Polish-Armenian defence cooperation possible, and that it will attract more Polish investments to Armenia. Minister Ohanyan also assured that new orders for Lubawa products are to be placed by Armenia and also other countries, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
A report from the official opening will be soon available on our website.
