LUBAWA 8 JUMP CUSHION

The jump cushion of „LUBAWA 8" type is intended for evacuation of people from threatened places, in particular from higher floors of burning facilities.

The maximum height from which one can jump is 16 m.

The base of the jump cushion structure is the pneumatic frame made of gummed gas-proof fabric, which after being filled with air in about 40-60 seconds creates a frame, which is the bearing frame for the bag walls, the purpose of which is to keep the proper shape of the safety cushion .

For quick and easy placement, the jump cushion is equipped with its own gas supply source, i.e. 2 air cylinders with a capacity of 10 dm3 and filling pressure of 30 Mpa.

The jump cushion is self-unfolded within 40-60 seconds after the cylinder with the compressed air has been opened. The frame automatically raises and creates the frame of dimensions 7.39 x 7.39 x 2.5m. Simultaneously, the internal room is filled from the surrounding area by the holes located in the walls of the safety cushion. After landing, the body encounters the landing area - the pneumatic frame is deformed, it deflects. The internal volume of the chambers is reduced, and the concentrated air escapes in a controlled manner by the holes in side walls of the jump protector.

After unloading, the frame filled with air raises itself. Frequency of jumping is determined by the time required to get off the safety cushion by a jumping person. There is no need to re-fill with the compressed air.

The expected period of use of the jump cushion is 15 years.
