A conference whose subject was “Comprehensive security systems of helicopters and vehicles in the offer of Lubawa Group” took place during the XXI (21st) International Defence Industry Fair in Kielce. A speech was delivered by Marcin Kubica, President of the Management Board of Lubawa S.A. The conference ended with the representatives of Lubawa S.A. and Rheinmetall Ballistic Protection signing an agreement.

The agreement provides for a joint work on the development of comprehensive lightweight ballistic protection systems for helicopters, vehicles and ships. The memorandum also includes the transfer of technologies created in such a manner to Lubawa's production facilities in Poland. In the era of high-speed and manoeuvrable military vehicles, where the weight of the components must be kept to a minimum, lightweight ballistic plates are the future solution for the protection of combat vehicles, flight and marine equipment.

Lubawa S.A. has already in its offer lightweight composite ballistic shields. They are the effect of co-operation with the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Skawina. Undertaking cooperation with a specialised partner from Germany will contribute to expanding the existing product range of Lubawa S.A. with innovative products that will be produced in accordance with the German engineering solutions of Rheinmetall.
