The beginning of September began intensively for Lubawa S.A. The wide range of products of the company, on as many as five subject categories, was presented on the International Defence Industry Fair which was held on 2-5 September. The visitors had the opportunity to meet with the experts from Lubawa S.A. and Miranda Sp. z o.o. who provided them with detailed information on the companies' product range.
The first presented category of products was individual soldier equipment, including, among others: bulletproof vests (i.e. women's K2-K and RECCON QR), tactical vests, helmets, backpacks and others. Flood protection is the next category including among others, flood barriers, pneumatic boats, rescue sleds, and flood prevention system (observation balloon). Camouflage and decoy products have also been presented on the stand, including individual forest camouflage and winter camouflage of a soldier and a mobile camouflage designed for the APC “Rosomak”, and specialised fabrics of Miranda Sp. z o.o.
New products such as air cushions for emergency helicopter landing, and products already included in the offer like protective clothing, decontamination tents and cabin, have been presented in the category of military engineering. Comprehensive protection systems of helicopters and vehicles is a category in which one could see fuel tanks, lightweight ballistic plates, floats for helicopters, and a crash landing system which is designed to cushion the fall of the falling helicopter.
Among other novelties presented at the stand, it its worth to mention an advanced mobile military tablet X-plore resistant to weather conditions. The P1 grenade launcher, P2 bang and tear gas grenades and the flashbang grenades against riots are products for the armed forces for specific tasks and security services training. KRAKEN, a light riot gun which can fire rubber bullets, gas and bang grenades, has also been presented. It allows to overpower the enemy at a distance from 5 m 40 cm using a tennis ball or gas grenade. Another novelty presented at Lubawa's stand was a portable anti-shrapnel shield. It is a mobile device for securing objects that may contain other devices or materials that are explosive. The shield minimises or eliminates the effects of an explosion. It is recommended for uniformed services securing mass events and services responsible for security at airports, train stations, and public places.
The guests who visited our stand included, among others, such personages as: Chief Commanding Officer of the Military Police Major General Mirosław Rozmus, Deputy Chief Commanding Officer of the State Fire Service Marek Kowalski, Head of the Armament Division of the Armament and Police Technology Coordination Department Police Lieutenant Karol Pietrzak. The stand has also been visited by many Polish and foreign delegations. We would like to thank all the visitors for their attention and encourage you to see the photos from the event.
