A number of issues from the field of economy were considered at the Congress in Łódź. A large part of the meeting was devoted to the discussions concerning the possibilities of the Polish defence and aviation industry in relation to Africa. Marcin Kubica, President of the Management Board, delivered a lecture on the offer of the military company Lubawa S.A.

Ambassadors of African countries attended the Congress in large numbers. Among those present, there was also the Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Piechociński, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce – Witold Gerlicz and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Africa, John Godson. The guests from Africa interested in the defence sector were represented by: Saeed Ibrahim al-Khattali – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lybia and Bruno Itoua – Minister of Research and Innovation of Congo as well as generals and Ministers of Defence from African countries

During the congress, the representatives of Lubawa S.A. held a series of meetings with the representatives of the Ministries of Defence of African countries. The most advanced were the meetings with the representatives of the Ministries of Defence of Ethiopia and Nigeria. The contents of the letter of intent have been composed together with the representatives of the governmental defence industry of Ethiopia – the METEC company, for the purpose of signing a cooperation agreement involving the production of Lubawa products in Ethiopia.

Details of the project being prepared, relating to providing tent bases for 6,000 soldiers were discussed with the representatives of the General Staff of the armed forces of Nigeria. The discussion also included the signing of a partnership agreement whose subject is the cooperation in the field of technology transfer and the commencement of production of the Lubawa S.A. equipment in Nigeria.

Lubawa SA offers products designed for use in special tasks requiring specialised equipment to guarantee the personal protection of soldiers, assistance during natural disasters, ballistic protection of helicopters and vehicles, as well as fake military and camouflage equipment – static and mobile. The Company's products are used not only in Poland. Lubawa S.A. is currently cooperating with the representatives of African countries. It has already executed, among others, the order of delivery of tent bases for the Nigerian police.

Lubawa S.A. was the military sector sponsor of the event in Łódź. The Congress has been performed as a part of the governmental program Go Africa which aims to increase the trade between Poland and African countries.
