Due to the plans of Lubawa S.A. to further expand its presence on the market of humanitarian organizations, on 10 December the company’s representatives took part in a seminar devoted to UN public procurement system. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the UN Department of Public Procurement and the Public Procurement Office.
Nearly fifty representatives of the largest Polish companies took part in the meeting together with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the issues concerning the UN system of public procurement were discussed. Presented were the most often ordered goods and services as well as purchase plans of UN for the year 2014.
‘Our participation in the seminar allowed us to establish valuable and direct contacts in the UN department of purchases, and thus to present the company’s product offer,’ says Marcin Kubica, President of the Management Board of Lubawa S.A. ‘In future, we are planning to maintain our participation in tenders for international organizations. Currently, we are working on preparing a product offer that would meet the requirements of humanitarian organizations, which we hope will translate into an expansion of our cooperation with UN,’ adds Marcin Kubica.
