Lubawa enters the U.S. market

Lubawa S.A. announced the appointment of a subsidiary in the United States of America. The main task of the new entity will be the sale and promotion of the Polish manufacturer's products for the uniformed services, as well as security systems on the U.S. market.

Lubawa USA is another entity which joined the ranks of the Lubawa Capital Group. The U.S. company will be controlled by the Polish Lubawa S.A., with a majority stake of 52% of the shares. The remaining part will be divided between the partners – Stanisław Litwin and Tad Skoczynski, 24% of the shares each. The newly created office of the company in Washington has already undertaken dynamic activities, and the attractive location provides proximity to the Pentagon, as well as to the headquarters of America's largest defence contractors.

"We have no doubt that our offer is attractive to American customers. Positive signals from the U.S. reached us even before our founding of formal structures there, which can be exemplified by a recently completed contract for the sale of our camouflage systems to the U.S. Department of Defense, amounting to nearly USD 1 million. Registration of the subsidiary will allow us to spread our wings – obtain comprehensive certification, which will greatly facilitate the realisation of subsequent transactions," says Marcin Kubica, CEO of Lubawa S.A.

Lubawa has already held a series of meetings in the U.S., where it had the opportunity to present its product range, and its offer aroused keen interest among such giants as Boeing Corporation and General Dynamics, opening the series of negotiations. In addition to flagship products, the company also presented its innovative security systems, in respect of which negotiations on the terms of the contract for the flood protection of St. Louis are being conducted. What is more, such companies as Ranger Group, Spectrum Group and a number of other entities, with which the negotiations about potential cooperation are also being conducted, expressed interest in preliminary strategic partnership.

In addition to sales and promotion on the U.S. market, the aim of Lubawa USA will also be the acquisition of partners among local companies, who would be interested in entering the Polish market as part of the partnership with Lubawa S.A. For the current year, however, the company has a highly specific plan of action.

"This year Lubawa USA will focus primarily on the promotional campaign aimed at attracting American customers. Within its framework, we will conduct a series of presentations and trainings, we also plan to actively participate in trade fairs in the United States. We want to introduce our products to the largest audience of U.S. customers possible. I think we have every reason to be successful on the new, albeit challenging market," adds Kubica, the CEO.
