Helmets and vests for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
Lubawa S.A. and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine have signed a contract for the amount of EUR 231,000 gross. It is the first, though not the only planned, contract for this recipient.
The subject of the contract are bullet-proof vests and helmets to be used by Ukrainian forces. The order, worth EUR 231,000, will have been completed by the end of August this year, and, as is highlighted by the management board of the Polish manufacturer, after completion of the current contract, the Company Lubawa may expect more orders from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
'We are really glad of the interest in Lubawa's new solutions in the overall segment of personal protection. We do hope that these beneficial circumstances will play to the Company's advantage to the end of the year,' comments Marcin Kubica, President of the Management Board of Lubawa Group.
Lubawa, which has recently been enjoying a large number of orders, has also started the fulfilment of a contract for OLV and KLV bullet-proof vests for the Polish Ministry of Defence, which fact was announced at the beginning of last month. The total value of the contract is PLN 3.5m gross, and it shall be completed by October 2014.
