The “eel” type rescue belt is designed for rescue operations by passing, throwing or directly putting the belt on a sinking person. It consists of a flexible, elongated, non-sinking float with a rescue harness and a strap. A special grip enables the attachment of a safety rope. Especially useful for individual rescue operations on open waters. With the ability to fasten the belt around, an unconscious person can be safely hauled.
