The joint venture company Xin Jiang Uniforce – Lubawa Technology Ltd operating in China, in which Lubawa SA holds 49% of shares, informed about new received orders.
The last year’s order for 48 special pneumatic tents became completed in 2010 by a successive order for 102 tents. The company’s turnover planned for 2010 should achieve 14-15 mln USD, from which 6 mln USD would represent the income from the first contract. The execution of this contract was fully postponed for the current year due to the social unrest in the region, where Polish-Chinese joint – venture operates. The talks focused on co-operation, implementing of new technologies as well as on production process organizing were held last week in China with a participation of Lubawa SA’s President, Mr. Przemysław Borgosz. The company should achieve in 2010 an estimated profit amounting to USD 1.1-1.5 mln and dividend should be paid to its shareholders.
The joint venture company Xin Jiang Uniforce – Lubawa Technology Ltd was registered last year together with the Chinese partner, Tsinghua Uniforce Technology Co., having headquarters in Tianjin. Companies specialized in prospecting explorations of mineral deposits are the first buyers of offered products. That is exactly such a company, who passed the first order for 48 pcs of TNP/2008 tents assigned for equipment storage and servicing. First deliveries within this order were initially planned for the end of the last year, but due to the social unrest in Sinkiang province, where the joint-venture had been established, the fulfillment of the contract was postponed to the current year with a full approval of the ordering party from Chinese raw materials sector.
The order for successive 102 pcs of TNP/2008 tents was given by another company from natural resources sector, who paid attention to the innovatory technological solutions from Poland. Tents will be used in China as mobile logistic and servicing background during oil, gas and other minerals exploration. Each tent is equipped with own feeding, heating and lighting system as well as with a transport container ensuring safe and quick transport.
TNP/2008 tents, being object of the a/m contract have been already used by the Polish army in Afghanistan for technical maintenance and repairs of wheeled armored carrier “Rosomak”.
Xin Jiang Uniforce – Lubawa Technology Ltd will manufacture various kinds of pneumatic tents, using Lubawa SA’s experience and technology as well as raw materials supplied from Poland. The Far-Eastern customers expect different solutions based on pneumatic frames: from lodging bases used by Polish soldiers in Chad, through tents employed for equipment servicing and storage in tough conditions, up to the structures based on big pneumatic frames (10-metre high and 20-metre step). Thanks to use of such a frame, the tent of 600 square metre surface was built. Its frame was designed and manufactured at the end of 2009 in Lubawa SA’s branch in Grudziądz. Then, it was sent to China, where now it is being tested by potential buyers. This is one of the largest pneumatic structures all over the world – prepared to be used as servicing hangar for aircrafts, utilizing mobile airfield system based on Lubawa SA’s pneumatic constructions. The Company’s President, Mr Przemysław Borgosz does not exclude possibility of acquiring Chinese orders from other sectors, in which Lubawa SA is leading in Poland i.e. industrial and personal safety, protective cloths and systems.
