LIGHTWEIGHT RPG NET SCREEN

The lightweight RPG net screen is designed to protect vehicles and other military objects against impacts from PG 7W and PG 7WM type High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) grenades. The system is composed of individual net modules tailored to the size and dimensions of the object to be protected.
KEY FEATURES:
  • The lightweight frame is made of composite or aluminum alloy materials.−The strings have high tensile strength.
  • Special coating protects the net against adverse weather conditions.
  • The strings tension is made possible by textile straps located on the sides of the frame and kept in place by Velcro bands.
  • The strings have metal elements attached at crossing points, preventing them from shifting out of place

The individual net modules that form the protection system are connected with rigid screw joints or bands made of Velcro tapes. The net modules are mounted onto the object with adjustable brackets that set the distance between the net and the protected surface.

The system is exceptionally lightweight –the net and profiles alone weight only 4.75 kg/m2. The weight of the entire panel depends on the shape and size of the frame. The product is subject to the EPO / PCT patent procedure, patent application ID EP19461550A
