International Rescue and Fire-Fighting Technique Fair EDURA 2016 is a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences between the domestic and foreign representatives of the medical rescue, protection and fire-fighting branches. The equipment was purchased by the Embassy of Poland in Tbilisi with the financial support of Polish Aid. As a result of another successful tender, the NS-97 tents manufactured by Lubawa S.A. will go to the 4th Regional Logistics Base in Wrocław. The contract signed on 23 October, 2015 is worth PLN 9,520,200 gross. The order will be completed by 10 December 2015. Lubawa S.A. has been chosen as a result of a tender for a general repair service of OLV bullet-proof jackets. The contract is worth PLN 600,140.00 net value. The ordering entity is the Military Unit 4226. The order will be completed by December 15, 2015.

The presentation of flood protection barriers produced by Lubawa S.A. took place in the Austrian city of Marchegg. The presented flood barriers were the 10 metre barriers with the internal sleeve of 23 metres. The presentation took place on 9th October 2015 in the local Fire Service Unit. District Headquarters of the State Fire Service (PSP) in Turek was the site of the exercise for the entire staff of PSP hindquarters in Turek, as well as for units of the voluntary fire departments from the area of Brudzew and Przykona municipalities. 17 teams of The General Corps of Volunteer Firefighters competed in Łowicz during the 9th District Sports and Firefighting Competition. The contest took place on 27 September at the stadium of Town Sports and Leisure Centre in Łowicz. In total, 17 teams took their chances, including 7 women teams, who won top positions in their municipalities. Top teams participated in two competitions – 7×50 m steeplechase relay race and operational exercises. The event is organized every two years.
