Presentation of products in Ukraine

On 11 May at the training ground in the 169th training centre of the “Desna” Ukrainian Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kiev, a closed presentation of the equipment offered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Lubawa Group and Ukroboronprom, a state-owned Ukrainian Defence Industry, was held.

The presentation was attended by Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, Stepan Połtorak, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, as well as by the highest representatives of the Command of the Ukrainian Army.

The event took place with the participation of the media. It consisted in the presentation of new types of arms offered by Ukroboronprom, and logistics systems (tents on a rigid and pneumatic frame), multispectral camouflage systems and personal protection systems (bulletproof vests and helmets) manufactured by Lubawa Group.

During the event the Management Board of Lubawa S.A. had the honour to hold direct consultations with the President of Ukraine, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Army Commanders on the topic of the current needs of Ukraine in terms of products offered by Lubawa Group. The parties agreed a calendar of further activities, consistent with the scenario in the framework of an agreement on strategic cooperation, which was concluded in Kiev in December 2014 between Lubawa Group and Ukroboronprom.

A series of tests on the part of the Ukrainian army was scheduled for the beginning of June 2015; the tests will cover multispectral camouflage systems and personal protection systems offered by Lubawa Group. After completion of the tests a further continuation of talks between the two parties is planned, pertaining to the manufacture and supply of Lubawa Group products for the Ukrainian army.
